ASU Preview Thread

I'm interested in everyone's thoughts on the ASU game. But I also want to have some fun. This is your thread to tell everyone what you think is going to happen. But there's a catch. It must be in the form of haiku. Remember, haiku is written in syllables--5-7-5

Stewart really good
Devil D line gets pushed around
Whole lotta yardage

Sun Devils stack the box
Players think they stop Stewart
Dixon still has ball

Carpenter can't run
Nick Reed around his blind side
Quarterback on ground

Devils stop Dixon
Zebra throws a bright yellow flag
Fifteen yards, first down

Twill be a close one
Sun Devils better than most think
Duckies by a score

Have fun. And remember, anyone not attempting haiku will be jeered mercilessly.

Guys, I'm really worried this is getting to all of our heads, but more importantly our team's heads. I feel really anxious about tomorrow, because after about 9 articles per week on the Ducks, and how improved Dennis is... what if it all falls on us tomorrow? That would be the worst, yes? After the national attention finally falls upon us, AND gameday comes back one more time, if we lose at home to ASU, this will hurt a lot.

Go Ducks, but, Dave, can you promise a win so we can sleep tight tonight??? (Guess what, I'm 13.)

Fear not, butthol

I can't believe the pundits are calling this game as close as they are. ASU is rated 49th in the nation in strength of schedule and the Ducks are currently 7th. You don't think that stat is going to become glaringly obvious tomorrow? The devils haven't come close to facing an offense (nor defense for that matter) the caliber of Oregon's. We are going to hand Dennis Erickson's head to the ASU faithful on a shiny silver platter.
Oh, and is it just me or is anyone else getting tired of reading the "Who woulda thought this matchup was going to be for the BCS title blah, blah, blah" headlines? Do any of these people have a clue how college football works?
And personally, I can't wait till this game is done so we won't have to listen to how Erickson is the second coming of Christ even though he hasn't done squat since he was at Miami. Geez!
