Win or lose, plenty of booze

Hey, Duck fans -

Thanks for being (for the most part) gracious hosts to those of us Cal fans / alumni who have stopped over here this week to talk about the game. A few raw nerves and ruffled feathers aside (pun intended), the talk was spirited and respectful.

That being said, I think it's pretty damned cool that both teams are in the position where this game has such passion, attention, and importance surrounding it. Certainly both programs (and the fans) can take pride in it.

Anyway, I look forward to a really exciting, well-played, clean, and injury-free game tomorrow. Get to the stadium and try and make it as intimidating as you seem to think it is - it adds to the whole atmosphere.

Just don't get too depressed when the Bears win!

And remember - win or lose, plenty of booze. Good luck on all of your games after this one.

It Has Been Fun

I've really enjoyed the chatter. I plan to enjoy the game even more. Plenty of booze is a given. Seriously, checking out the latest comments has helped me get through this extremely slow week. The suspense has been torturous. But tomorrow is finally nearly here. ESPN's College GameDay, beating Cal, and George Thorogood in one day. It doesn't get much sweeter than that.

It's all good . . .

All anyone has to do is rewind twenty years and look at how the Ducks were then and how far they have come. Any progress is good now and I think we have come a long way. Some things never change; I don't care who wins tomorrow as long as they beat the Mules.

The chatter was fun. It shows both programs have passionate fans who love to talk FB. Thanks for the hospitality, Dave and others. Today's game is good for both schools and good for the Pac 10.

I've mostly enjoyed the Cal fans throwing in their two cents. It's been fun so far, and I'm excited for the game. This game is a setup for the history books.
