UCLA Bruins at Oregon Ducks, Oct 11, 2008 7:15 PM PDT

Autzen Stadium

7:27 PT, FSN

Please no black helmets, please no black helmets.

Its time fpr the defense to show us something.  If UCLA can move the ball with any consistency, we're worse than I thought.

Fortunately, this isn't SC.  There's no way they stop our running game.

Oregon - UCLA game streamed

Hey Ducks,

Every week, I put the stream the UCLA game on my site bruinvideos.com combined with the chat room from the UCLA forums site Bruinville.com. Enjoy the stream or come join the chat if you want to be civil.

Good luck.

Black is a Beaver color

what’s next? Do you want us to wear orange helmets? Purple and gold helmets?

The green helmet is the best in college football. The only reason not to wear it is the storm trooper look.

Offense is workin’ alright too. Masoli is carrying most of the load. Hopefully JJ can start breaking away.

I'd like to see even more read-option from Masoli

He’s had some success tonight (and some failures) and if he gets good at it he could really be the next ducks QB. Until someone proves he can work that, along with the passing game, we’re without a real QB to take us back into the national polls.

I’m loving it, and want to see more!

Papadakis actually made a good point when he said we had been going away from the play in the second quarter.

He made some bad reads, but when he got it right we made some big gains, both with him and with the RBs running the ball.

TV coverage blocks out crowd noise so you can hear the announcers better. Every time I’ve been at Autzen (once in ‘06, 3x last year) it has been raucous. Plus, even though it’s homecoming, this isn’t that big a game

Was UCLA’s passing D really that good, were our receivers not that good, or is Masoli’s vision for finding open receivers not that good?

I got the feeling that Kelly’s plan was to not loose this game, so he told Masoli to make no mistakes throwing the ball and instead, if there is any doubt, just try to get a few yards with his legs. And against UCLA’s D that is good enough
