UO vs. Cal to be on ABC

Andy McNamara at Goducks.com just posted a news release from the Pac-10 stating the Oregon/Cal game will be on ABC. Nov. 1 @ 12:30 Pacific.

Still no broadcast for ASU, which is complete crap.

This sucks for me

as I will be at the game and will have my night full of festivities in downtown San Francisco on Halloween, I must petition to the Football TV gods to push the game to at least 3:30pm. For the sake of my liver, throat and general health. Please pray with me. Thank you brothers.

ATQers, time to step up and help a brother out...

My #1 hangover prescription: water, water and more water, big glass of cranberry juice, two Excedrin, a greasy double cheeseburger and about four strips of bacon.

Who else has a suggestion for SeattleDucks?

Prevention

Best way to go, if you can remember to do this while being intoxicated, is to drink a 24oz glass of water (fairly quickly, near chug) and take a couple of aspirin before finally crashing out. I believe that most of the issue with drinking too much is becoming dehydrated during the night, hence the horrible headaches and such when you get up.

You may end up having to pee a couple times but you will be in far less pain the next day

Try this...

The water and such usually works well, and I recommend as well. However, the next morning I recommend eating Franz Glazed Old Fashioned Donuts and Grape Gatorade. Not a bad breakfast, plus if you puke, it tastes pretty good coming back up!

May we hand you your taints on a silver platter...

One thing I’ve heard people say about Gatorade is that if you chug it down, you can likely throw up (more).

My brother taught me this one:
Throw some vanilla ice cream, milk, banana, and honey into a blender.

And slowly enjoy your Banana Milkshake.

Replaces valuable electrolytes, replaces depleted blood sugar levels and it’s soft on the stomach. I only have had one hangover (It takes quite a bit for me), and I was up and going within about 10 minutes of drinking that.

Anything from Nation's

I go grilled cheese, bowl of chili, fries if it’s past noon.
Two egg omelette with a shit ton of hash browns if it’s still morning out.

Milk and Chocolate

Before I drink…and I do it a lot and in excess, I drink two 24 oz. glasses of milk and eat two hersheys bars. The cheeseburgers are a good idea too because the greasy and fatty food makes it easier for you body to absord the alcohol and break it up. Then of course water in the morning and a nice cup of coffee.

p.s.
I hear sex is great for it too….never tried that one though.

Vitamin B complex before or after drinking

Works for me, but my bet is many of the side effects of drinking can be different causes for different people, so the treatment depends

I did a quick google scholar search and found this to support my vitamin B argument.

This is the important line: Effective interventions include rehydration, prostaglandin inhibitors, and vitamin B6

Oh and I suggest doing it before

less likely you’ll throw it up and develop a bad conditioned response to the pill

You know

Only Roboduck has that power. Also I hear that if you look him in the eyes you’ll dream about puppy rape that night.
