Judging by Pete Carroll’s comments about the BCS rankings and polls, I would think that USC fans would want to see Oregon State in the Rose Bowl. It actually makes business sense too because the Pac-10 wouldn’t have 2 BCS teams if Oregon State loses the Rose Bowl birth. USC would most likely get picked for the fiesta or another BCS bowl if they won’t be in the National Championship game and don’t win the conference. They would be 10-1 and definitely be in the top 8 in the BCS standings.

Now there is some debate about whether a (potentially) 9-3 team even should be in the BCS but guess what. Win your games. Then you don’t have those issues. Those are the rules.
