The Dream Lives On
After finding new and innovative ways to choke away the Apple Cup today, Washington has only a trip to Strawberry Canyon standing between itself and an 0-12 season. Washington is officially the worst team in Division 1 football--and I love every minute of it. Seal the deal, Fuskies. Live on in infamy as one of the absolute worst Pac-10 teams in history.
Meanwhile, the Beaver Rose Bowl dreams live on after the Barkrodents squeezed by Screamin' Mike Stoops. What sweetness will it be when we not only win the Civil War next weekend, but crush their wildest dreams in front of their own fans.
The dream lives on. At this time next week, both of our rivals will suffer complete dejection.

Next Week
I’m looking forward to the Civil War for sure. I’m even looking forward to Turkey Day and having left over turkey sandwiches while watching the game. This game will be one hell of a matchup, even if certain fans won’t give us any credit. I hope there will be all kinds of talk…to which I will respond…see you on Saturday!

We miss you Dave...
One last post?
I can’t wait to watch the Huskies go 0-12. What a beautiful thing.

Bow Down to 0-12
Disclosure – I stole that headline from someone else here at ATQ…great line.
Six pack of Full Sail Amber I grabbed at Safeway: $5.99
Short drive to a friends house to watch the second half of the Crapple Cup: 53 cents
Sandwich I grabbed on the way over: $5 footlong
The look on the faces of Husky fans as they lost to the Cougs: PRICELESS
And if you needed a good chuckle this Sunday morning, I give you the University of Washington Fight Song: Bow Down To Washington.
Bow Down to Washington,
Bow Down to Washington.
Mighty are the men who wear the Purple and the Gold,
Joyfully we welcome them within the Victor’s fold.
We will carve our name in the Hall of Fame,
To preserve the memory of our Devotion.
Chorus
So, heaven help the foes of Washington,
They’re trembling at the feet of mighty Washington.
Our boys are there with bells,
Their fighting blood excells,
It’s harder to push them over the lines than pass the Dardanelles.
So Victory’s the cry of Washington
Our leather lungs together with a Rah! Rah! Rah!
And o’er the land, the loyal band**
Will sing the glory of Washington forever!
For what it’s worth, I do believe that this year’s Husky team will – as the song says – “carve our name in the Hall of Fame”.
Go Cal.

hi there. I think it is about a 50/50 shot realistically. The game is at Reser this year and the home team has won the majority of the time in the past 10 years. Last year was the first time in a long time where the home team didn’t win. Outside of everything, there is a certain feel among the Beaver faithful that Oregon State is a team of “destiny”, especially after the come from behind win at Arizona. Oregon is just starting to find itself after the loss of Dixon and Stewart last year. If this game happened a month ago, I would have said that Oregon State wins in go away fashion. Oregon has had a bye week to prepare for the game and anything can happen in rivalry games.
A lot will depend on what Quizz’s status for the game is and whether Lyle will be back in the starting role.

I think even with the pending "perfect season", and the loss to WSU
Washington is still the better team
Washington’s D looked at times this season like it was going to be effective, it just never was. This, as opposed to WSU’s D which never even looked existent.
Apple Cup aside, I think WSU is the worst BCS team ever; worse than Washington.

Tie
then can just have a tie for the worst team ever. Would that make the state of Washington the worst BCS state in the history of the world?

Most certainly the worst state ever!
It’s an absolute travesty.
We should make them play in the Big East.

I like it
I propose a “straight across” trade, for Miami and FSU.
Then demote the ACC from the BCS, and add the WAC.
GT and VT can suck it.
Questions, comment, concerns?

Pullman ever? Or Miami?
Inconvenient? Maybe. Expensive? Most certainly? Unfortunate? Never :-)
