Maybe if we stop posting over there someone will take control of that site (looking at you VD) I bet 20% or more of their hits and comments come from AtQers. DB1988 edits the freaking posts over there without even saying anything about it.

I’m not here to tell them how to run that site, but c’mon. “If you notice that a caption has been changed or a poll has wackier answers than it used to, then it was probably me.”???? So I just have to use my imagination to know if he’s changing stuff, or if the opinions presented are real people? Why? Do we do that on AtQ and I’m just blind to it? I mean, if something is just so out there that it needs to be changed, by all means change it. But don’t just do it to change the context. Why would you create a FanPost like the one referenced here, ask for comments, and then shut it down so nobody CAN comment? I’m honestly done going over there. I really like most of the fans over there, but enough is enough for me.

Anyway…sorry about the rant. In regards to your team, I’m not going to lie. Right now I think I’d take a healthy Quizz to start over JJ. If I have to pick between JJ and Blount, and Quiz and James (or McCants), I’m taking JJ and Blount. But for the “First Team All Oregon” team, I’d have to go with Quizz. I don’t know enough about most of their other players to argue the rest of this.

I wouldn’t even respond to him if I could. Until he’s able to treat other people like human beings, he’ll be more or less ignored by myself, and hated by others. We aren’t the only fan base that has voiced their “opinions” from his writings. Worst – satirist – ever.

Regardless, if you’re willing to hose off the proverbial shit, you’ll realize there’s a reasonable and interesting question in there. But I don’t think it’s worth the effort to clean it off.

I saw your admission of a stretch, but. Cassy is not that fast, and he is really not fast enough to play the Will backer. Paysinger or OS Will would play much better. I like Matthew a lot for our team, but not because he is fast.

I’m just really high on Matthews and wanted to stretch it a little if needed. Hence, Tavita Thompson at guard. I’m not as high on the Beavs’ OLBs as I am with Kristick, who I wanted at his natural position.

I would argue that Safety Greg Laybourn (3 time Pac10 defensive player of the week) would find his place over TJ Ward

QB -Moevao was leading the Pac-10 in passing before his injury. Canfield has had an over 70% completion rate. Masoli had some horrible games… he’s had one great half, some good halves, and some abysmal games (Cal, USC). I would not take him over either OSU quarterback. I know you said hottest hand, but given one drive for a quarterback to win the game… I think Canfield is the pick at this point, oddly enough. He had some clutch throws last week.

Slot – Maehl is fine, but Morales is a red zone beast and an excellent slot receiver.

Defensive Backfield – Hughes/Lewis are awesome. How well did the Arizona passing attack fare vs. OSU? Not well. They are put on an island all game, and have responded this year with terrific play. Sure, Thurmond and Byrd are highly touted, but Hughes and Lewis are gamers. I probably take Thurmond and Hughes in the end.

Also, Laybourn is an absolute animal… It’s a tough call. I would take him and Chung. That would be one heck of a safety combo.

Maybe I’m an OSU honk… It’s just that the UO pass defense in 101st in the nation. It’s hard for me to see taking all four of the members of the backfield.
