It would have been Pete Carroll making that “Thank You!” phone call…

Carroll says something similar, but it just starts with a different word instead of “Thank”…

Yea, it is quite easy to have a strong bowl record when you have an annual date witht he Outback Bowl like PSU.
We don't fear USC
If you followed the link, we have a 14-5-1 record in the five major bowl games. I’m also not sure what the Outback Bowl comment is about, seeing as we’ve been to the Fiesta, Orange, and Sugar Bowls all more times than we’ve been to the Outback Bowl. Of those, we’re 6-0 in Fiesta, and 4-1 in Orange. This year, we’ll have been to the Rose as many times as we’ve been to the Outback, and like I said, we don’t fear the very good but still overrated USC.
I’m not sure where the animosity comes from. Personally, I like Oregon, like the tradition, like the uniforms, and as a Disney fan, love your mascot. I meant my post as a friendly congratulatory gesture, but it sounds to me like some Oregon fans might still be a little bitter about their last trip to the Rose Bowl.
