Poll: Most Disappointing Moment of the Last Three Seasons
What do you think? MY pick would have to be the Cal game last year. It was just all so perfect. I camped outside the south gate with a friend and we got on CGD. All hell was about to break lose if we scored on that last drive....then Autzen went silent....one of the most sad things you will ever not hear....
The Arizona game was almost as equally gut-renching but nothing can ever come close to the pain I felt after seeing the ball roll out the back of the endzone.....

I don't know why the arizona game is even on there
Dixon got hurt VS Arizona St. Take that play away and we would have had our national championship… Probably
If we had won the Cal game, we would have received the #1 spot in the nation… At least for awhile
Little fact: Evensen was actually OSU’s MVP for both 2006 and 2007 civil wars.

2006 was Paul Martinez's fault

Agreed - but it was the play of our backups that got me so depressd
After the Cal game I thought we’d still win out. After ASU I still had faith in our backups. After UofA I didn’t think we would win another game.

last season was just too good to be true
I took it in week by week and couldn’t believe my eyes when we jumped all the way to #2. We were in the spotlight…….heisman front-runner, 3 easy games away from making the national championship game….then it all ended so abruptly…..

He's such a joke!
Oh no! We’re doing exactly how most of us expected!
Ken Goe brought some realism today…which was nice.

The biggest heartbreak was definitely seeing Dixon cradle his knee against Arizona. After seeing him execute the offense like we saw all year (And that long TD run he had earlier), then fall to the ground without any contact, I had that numb feeling.
Not even the Colvin fumble caused that numbness to me, because I was damned proud of the way our guys competed against Cal.
It's spelled "e-v-e-r-y-t-h-r-e-a-d-i-s-b-e-t-t-e-r-w-h-e-n-J-S-h-u-f-e-l-t-j-u-m-p-s-i-n"

Dixon falling...
without any contact was the worse feeling I have had in years. The thing is, had Jones caught that ball that was intercepted in the endzone we still could have won that game and kept our title hopes alive. The reason it hurt me was because I was in love (no homo) with DD at that point. My friends always bring it up when we discuss why Oregon is better than Michigan or Michigan State.
