In keeping with the Holiday Season, I would like to present a series called "The 12 Days of Duckmas", counting down 12 of the best moments from Oregon Duck Athletics in 2008. This isn't meant to be a comprehensive list by any means and is certainly not in order of importance. If anything is left out, the 13th day will be for finishing up the leftovers, taking back the unwanted gifts and spending those giftcards.

On the 4th day of Duckmas, Pat Kilkenny gave to me...
the return of Oregon Ducks Baseball Oregon Ducks Baseball returned this year in a big way with a big name coach, the construction of a new baseball park near Autzen Stadium, and some fun uniforms to boot. Mel Krause (pictured above), former Oregon Baseball Coach, was instrumental in returning the program to the University after a 28 year absence. Sadly, Mel Krause wouldn't see the fruits of his labor as he passed away back in June. With some great facilities, community backing and a fun recruiting class, the Oregon Ducks baseball team should be fun to watch |
