Out with an injury. He was day-to-day…apparently today was not a good day.

Halftime

I listened to most of the first half coming home from work. If TP gets called for another carry, I think I’m going to go crazy. It seems like he has one or two per game and they just don’t need to happen. We are not doing well off the bench tonight. We are 2-11 in FGs off the bench. Our starters are doing as well as to be expected. 47% shooting isn’t a bad half. Utah is shooting 56% from the field and 62%(!) from 3pt range. For having all of our bigs out, I expected the FG percentage to be high from Utah but I thought we would be getting some more stops on the parameter.

10/13 in FGs as well. The kid is on fire! It seems like he is starting to get a bit of confidence and we need it too with TP struggling

TV

It’s too late now, but you could have watched the game on The Mtn. (DIRECTV Channel 616)

At the game

I was there last night at the Huntsman and Oregon just came out flat. Catron picked up 2 quick fouls and couldn’t assert himself against the Ute’s 7 footer Nevill and Crittle was lost on defense.

Utah’s Shawn Green hit 3 or 4 threes in the first half too to widen the halftime gap which didn’t help. Then in the second half everytime Oregon got to within 10 points Utah hit another big shot. Ducks just couldn’t get over the hump.

After spending 4 years watching games at Mac Court I wasn’t ready for the Huntsman last night. It was quiet and spread out with a non-existant student section. No atmosphere at all, I miss The Pit !
