How many times has LaGarrette Blount done that this year? Sealed games with spectacular runs. This is just another example. I actually like this run more than the Boise State run he had because of the power he showed at the end. He was going to the end zone, no doubt about it. When he got to the 10 and started dragging people, that is just plain heart right there.

I’m really looking forward to seeing LaMichael James and Blount in the backfield next year

That will be a nice combo...

What I like about this run, is the hurdle in traffic, keeping balance, and then using power.

That’s going to be a major change of pace for the defense. And don’t dismiss Alston, or Crenshaw either.

Alston and James are very similar...

Though James may be a tad faster. Alston has the upperhand of experience and seniority but James is making waves.

Crenshaw hasn’t been improving enough to garner a starting spot the past two years, which is a shame because of his promise shown last year when JJ went down and when he came out of high school.

To answer your question, 5 times.

1. Got the TD rush against Purdue, in double overtime.
2. Pushed the game out of the way for UCLA
3. He got the game winning TD against Stanford with a few seconds left.
4. He sealed the victory against Arizona, after their big comeback rally.
5. And there is Oklahoma State (See video above)

No doubt that was a remarkable run, but we’re all sleeping on the outstanding job our offensive line has done all year long. The big boys up front might not get their names in the paper every week, but wow…just WOW. Well played boys…keep up the good work.

Can we talk about how Blount dragged the defender into the endzone? call me crazy but it looks like Blount just grabbed him and dragged him into the endzone just to do it. The guy didn’t have a handle on BFT!
