Xavier Ramos Update
Apparently, he wants to go to OSU and stick it to Oregon. I hope, for his sake, that he gets the opportunity and try to make that happen.
Also interesting, John Canzano had an well reasoned and appropriate response to the entire situation. I was shocked, especially since the U of O was concerned. On his radio show, he interviewed the Ramos' coach, and was reasonable, blaming the NCAA and calling out the entire recruiting process. Oregon took it's share of the blame, but the issues in recruiting plague everyone, and end up hurting both players and schools.
But hey, the NCAA is involved, so nothing will happen. If you have the time, check it out. It's a good listen if you're interested in these issues.

I have no problem with him becoming a beav
If he really desires those 6 win seasons and playing in the rain and gloom, far be it from me to hold him away from it.
He sounds like a star of a kid, and I’m really not looking forward to him becoming a beav because they have a history of big-impact LBers, but it seems strange that he would pick where he is going to college (a huge decision), just to stick it to their rival? I think this may not be a serious statement, and he’s just trying to get a lick in at us.

I doubt this has influenced him to go to OSU.
More of a jab at Oregon.
That audio clip was interesting to hear.

First he has to get an offer from them
Last I heard he didn’t even have any other Pac 10 offers. But I couldn’t put it past tehe Beavs to offer a schlorship to him just to give him that chance.
