ATQ touch Football
We talked about this a long, long time ago, but I was very excited about it so I thought I'd revive it. Some latesummer Saturday, or even in the fall during road games, it'd be nice if we could have a get-together somewhere. The obvious location would be Eugene, but as we know, there's a VERY wide array of places where we live/ blog from/ do whatever we do. So that's the biggest obstacle.
Is there anyone blogging from Eugene (myself) or Portland (Dave and co.) that thinks they could make it some weekend? I would be perfectly content driving up to Portland for a weekend to play some football with some of you guys. Sadly, Jared's a midwest guy, so that's one big down. I know there are others here who have this same problem too.
Who would like to sometime? Moreover, who thinks they could possibly make one, just to meet up, maybe play some football, talk football, talk to some of the guys who you only know on ATQ? No creepers please. (BYOB?) I could bring the football. The details can be hammered out late if we cross the initial preliminary proposition state.
Just something to think about...

Beaverton here
I could make it as far as Eugene, and anywhere in between. Sounds like a great idea. I believe Dave(if you mean Bedge Dave) is in Idaho though.
Trail Blazers are really cool

I was talking about this here Dave
But sure, this is welcome to all that want to play and will play nice.
Back to Oregon
I usually don’t get a chance to make it back it to Oregon during the summer. Occasionally, I can make it back in the fall for a big football game, but that won’t happen this year.
I do usually make it out to Oregon for a week or two before Christmas. If others are around, I’d definitely be up for getting a group together to see a basketball game.
I'm from the Bary Area
and my family moved to South Carolina, so I don’t get to head back to Oregon much.
Not really...
I will back back for work sometime, but I’ll be pretty busy…
Hopefully I’ll make it back to a game next year. That’s the plan anyway.
I am down for a Eugene/Portland game
I think that Eugene on gameday might make a great day. UW is Aug 30 at 7 PM. Something on the rec turf fields earlier in the day would be cool.

Indeed.
Exactly what I was thinking and picturing. A sunny Saturday morning, meet up with some guys, go to the game, and so forth.
That said, that’s minimal time for us to hang and play. Whatever, we’ll see how this all pans out.
Dave, what do you think about, say, Memorial Quad or Skinners Butte Park?
that's why I was thinking UW
because its a night game.
We could do it before that in the summer, though.
Memorial Quad and Skinners Butte are both great. Washburne Park is also very near UO with a lot of open space.

Kinda hilly and uneven though don't you think?
I wish we had somewhere just MASSIVE and laid back, like Boston common or something.
East saiyed
I’m East-side Portland area here. Give me at least a week notice if it is on a weekend. Weekdays are nearly impossible for me.
Go Duckies!
we'll get something planned well in advance
