fall camp

when does fall camp start? I cant wait to hear about the QB battle.  I think we well have a good season.  Chip kelly turned dennis dixon from a below average QB into a heismen trophy canidate. We also dont really have to worry about a running back problem cuz we have Blount and J.J. who has a great stiff arm here let me remind you.......

I have hated reading about the ducks so far cuz they all say how well the ducks respond without Dennis Dixon and J. Stew.  Well we get JJ back plus Blount. so i think well be just fine. We also have Nate Costa who has great legs and a arm to.  We also have Justin Roper who had 4 td passes in the sun bowl and he only had about 1 month just image Nate or Justin or Chris or Darron when Chip has had the hole off season.

GO DUCKS!!!

Full camps start on Aug 4th

I think we’ll have a good season as well. However, two things that could suck.

1) Our schedule is brutal. USC, ASU, Cal, OSU on the road. Blech.
2) We have a lot of talent (I think they may be one of the most talented Oregon teams ever), but a lot of it is untested, QBs and WRs especially. If we get B- QB play, we’ll be a very good team.
Also, we will need some Linebackers to step up. There are lots of players that can play, and a lot of good youth, but who knows what we’ll see.

I'm thinking we are definitely underestimating the crucial factor of experience for QBs

Which we don’t have much of. Frosh WRs can get by, just hold on to the ball.

I think Casey Matthews steps up at LB, and I also hope that John Bacon has a breakthrough year. Could possibly not happen though.

And yes, schedule is the biggest obstacle this year. If we can stay afloat at Cal and ASU, I would be overjoyed. We are historically good in Tempe, and hey, you gotta beat Cal eventually. After their losses of Longshore, Forsett, and Jackson, it’s a vulnerable year in Berkeley.

Cal has an easy schedule...

I think it’ll be a hard fought game. Luckily we don’t have to deal with Desean this year.

He was the only WR our CBs couldn’t handle.

But will he play? None of us know.

In other words, Go Bears!

By the time you guys roll around we’ll have experience on our hands. For what it’s worth Jhavid Best is recovered and will be our go to RB with a couple of new guys backing him up. You saw how scarily fast he was.

The only thing that worries me is the WR.

Still it’ll be a good game.

In other words, Go Bears!

The same is true for us...

Hopefully all our young players will have it pulled together by the time we have to play @USC, @Cal, and @ASU.

i have to agree

are schedule is
Uw
Utah st.
@Purdue
Boise st.
@Wsu
@Usc
Ucla
@Asu
@Cal.
Stanford
UA
@Osu

tough but if you look at it 3 of the 1st 4 games are at home

then wsu and Usc tough but go to wsu first could gain great expericence for tough road games to come.

then come home 4 ucla

then @asu and @cal hard to predicted this far down the road but if we could win 1 of these that would be great

so i see the ducks have at least 2 losses usc and asu

then stanford and ua at home hopefully two wins…...

then @ Osu who i think gonna have a rebuilding year…..

most likely another loss in there
but i think we could go 6-0 at home this year!!!!!!

We better go 6-0 at home this year.

The only game we have any excuses losing are UCLA and BSU, but we should beat both of them, especially UCLA as we’ll have some experience under our belt.

6-0 @ home

@WSU and @Purdue likely wins. The season hinges on the @OSU, @USC, @Cal, @ASU. Winning two is good, three great.
