Captains Chosen for 2008-09 Season

As of Saturday's practice, the football team has chosen their captains going into the 2008-09 season. Those captains are (in no particular order)

Patrick Chung
Jeremiah Johnson
Nick Reed
Max Unger

I, for one, am really excited to see how well Jeremiah does this season. Blount has been getting a ton of attention from the media for his performance in the spring game but Jeremiah was having an electric year alongside Stewart before his injury. You just can't argue with any of these guys

Thanks for noting this.

I saw this but hadn’t got around to posting anything on it.

I think it’s a great combo of captains, and I think all will be great leaders this season, which leaves me very hopeful despite the loss of Costa.

I think JJ will be good

Given that he was willing to back up Snoop the last few seasons, if he stays healthy he’ll be great.

Glad to see Chung-foo-fighting (my personal nickname for him) as a Captain.

The 911 call from the Masoli/Embry case. This is priceless. Don't listen to it at work, unless your boss likes frat guys dropping a few late night F-Bombs.
