Watching the game through other avenues
So, I don't have cable and don't live in Oregon meaning I can't walk down to a bar and find the game on. I can't tell which games O-Zone is or isn't going to air online. I don't want to sign up for O-Zone if I'm going to get one or two games the entire season and I definitely don't want to sign up this week if I'm going to pay for August and not get the UW game.
Basically that's a long whine to ask: Does anyone know of a guaranteed way to watch the game online? Or a way to guarantee which games are on O-Zone? As far as I can tell, only the Utah St game is going to be aired on O-Zone although with the newly signed deal between Comcast and OSN, who the hell knows. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Or stories on lengths you've gone to watch a game. My plan B is to start going through all the seedy dive bars in town to ask if they're going to be showing the game. I somewhat shudder at the thought.

As far as I know
And this is based on last season there are few live games. But they post the replay the next day. So if you don’t watch the news or any other football untill you watch the games online you can act like it is live (LOL). This worked for me last year because I was working on Saturdays anyway. From what I can tell from goducks.com’s schedule of live events all they have on the cue so far is a women’s soccer game in October. The Huskies game will be on FSN so probably will not be on o-zone (because of the pac 10 broadcast agreement?).
Beyond that who knows, there was some mention by here http://www.ducksportsnews.com/blog/2008/08/dsn-exclusive-osntv-questions-answered/ by joe Giansante that there would be more live events on the o-zone but as you read it this is a bunch of noncomittal self congratulatory stuff that doesn’t really say anything useful. Mosely posted the new agreement with comcast, and someone posted on ther that dish network carries comcast with their sports package for $5.95. Which is what I’ve decided to check into tommorow since I have Dish network.

If I recall correctly...
O-Zone replays are posted on Sunday afternoon.
I’m pretty sure I watched some replays on Sunday evenings last season.

It's a little tricky to watch them without spoilers
but it’s possible if you’re real careful. I had to watch all the games on O-Zone last year because I was out of the country.

A lot of them, but not all
All of the OSN broadcasts are on Gameplan, which should include at this point Utah State, Boise State, and probably WSU, though that game is also on Fox Sports Northwest, so I’m not sure if that interferes with Gameplan.
Also, all games that are broadcast on the ESPN/ABC family of networks are on Gameplan. Thus, Purdue should be available. USC also, though that game will be on ABC or ESPN or ESPN2 pretty much anywhere nationally.
Washington is available nationally on Fox Sports Net and OSU will be on Versus, so those won’t be on Gameplan.
Those are the only games that are set, but many others should be picked up as well.

Replays always on OSN
For what it’s worth they air they replay typically at 11 PM the day of the game and then the day after on OSN…

Check Online listings
Online listing, such as
http://www.titantv.com
can be very helpful in figuring out what channel the games are on.
For Northern California / Bay Area:
The UW game is actually on Comcast SportsNet PLUS
Apparently Fox sold the rights for FSN-BA, FSN-PLUS to Comcast.

radio broadcasts
I’m going to attempt to record all of the game radio broadcasts this year and encode them in MP3. If people are interested, I can probably make these available unedited via torrent. Not sure if people are as interested in that though

Awesome!
I am interesting in getting all Duck audio/video I can.
For particularly good games, if I can get the video (*coughJShufeltcough*), I would be willing to edit the Jerry Allen audio with the video, rather than Giansante or some other tard…blech.

Me too
Jerry is a Play-by-play god and we all should be proud that he never left to go anywhere else!
Seriously though, can’t we ask Uncle Phil to start up the Ducks Broadcast Network? It works for those bastards of a baseball team, the Yankees!!

This is my first year doing this so we’ll see how it goes. I’m going to make a test on the Beaver game on Thursday. If all goes well, I should have the mp3 available on Sunday (barring any unforeseen issues). Would be great to get video with the radio overlay

Alternative of questionable legality...
Last year I used a peer-to-peer site of European origins to watch streaming Seahawks games live (well, maybe about 30 seconds behind the live broadcast) and I wasn’t seeing tomorrow night’s game show up on the listings there but then I realized: European site, European time. So, a Saturday night game actually shows up under Sunday’s listings. I didn’t try using this site last year for college games, anyone have any experience using it for college games? Know if it’ll reliably show the Versus/FSN Ducks’ games? All, what, two of them? Don’t really know about the legal status of the site but I know it was up all of last year and I didn’t have anyone breaking down my door with guns drawn.

If you're watching a stream...
There shouldn’t be any problems. If you’re doing the streaming, there may be problems.

Just watching...
Although I suppose that means I shouldn’t necessarily rely on the site from week to week. But as I said, it’s been up for over a year now. Guess I’ll enjoy it while I can.
