2 Days to UW - Remembering 2005
We're continuing to look back at some of the greatest moments of the UW rivalry. And in terms of butt-kickings, it doesn't get much better than the 2005 game. UW was incredibly bad, in the early stages of Willingham's time at UW.
After a couple early turnovers which led to an early 7-0 Husky lead, Oregon dominated, scoring 38 straight points.
Kellen set an Autzen record 36 completions, throwing for over 425 yards, 4 TDs, and completing passes to 13 different receivers while never turning the ball over. The running game went for 155 yards at just under 5 per carry.
Meanwhile, the defense laid the hammer down, holding UW to less than 250 yards of total offense, and getting 4 sacks.
The clips here show pretty accurately the domination that was this game.
Only 2 days until history repeats itself! GO DUCKS!

I was surprised at how much I saw Kellen out of the gun
I don’t remember it so exclusively back in 05.
James Finley! Demetrius! Terrence! Kellen! Brent Haberly! Great team.

We've been running the spread for a while...
Yes… even Leaf ran the spread, AND we ran the option read then, it just wasn’t the main gear of the offense.
Go Duckies!

Those uniforms seem so old...
’Twas a bit jarring to see some current players wearing them, J-Will, JJ, Chung, etc.

this was my first I Hate Washington day as a Duck fan, and wasn’t it a good one
I support Roger Kieschnick in his quest to becoming the best Kieschnick ever to play professional baseball.
