This is why OSU is irrelevant
and, ironically, for the first time in my life other than a Civil War, I found myself rooting AGAINST the Beavers. I’ve just had enough.

Yeah, I'll still root for them

Slow starts
For all the talk about Riley being the better coach than Belloti, why isn’t he held more accountable for the consistent choke jobs on national TV early in the year…and ALWAYS starting the season slow? I almost always root for the Beavs when they aren’t playing the Ducks, but I almost find myself rooting for Standford now just because I’m tired of listening to people like CV3000.

Yup....I would have been fine rooting for the Beavs
but after a whole summer of taking crap from BtD, this is a night to let off a little steam.

But Riley has never lost when he's had more than a week to prepare!
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Fuckin hell, this is pathetic. I guess this is what happens when you can’t run the ball and rest on Moevao to throw the ball.
And for Riley…I won’t think him a decent coach til he contends for a Pac-10 title. Guess that won’t happen this year either.

Gone pretty fast
HAHa! I guess that a Pac-10 loss the first game of the season isn’t the best way to show that you’re serious competition. Congrats to Stanford!

OSU....
is quickly becoming the Fresno State of the Pac-10. They play hard some games (those early in the season). And decide to suck at others. What a pain in the ass.

There’s no way this game should have been this close (if you actually want to contend for a Pac-10 title)

Tough Game
I have a pool going at work, essentially a pick’em style game with scores. I was the only one in the group that picked Stanford to win this game but I’m surprised people are knocking them so much. Stanford really played us tough last year and had some really close games. OSU was coming in with a new offensive line, unproven def 7 and a history of horrible starts.
Stanford is an up and coming program. OSU showcased some awesome bursts but even in the post-game Riley mentioned that he didn’t want to play “that brand of football” when asked about Moevao’s 404 passing yards. This is a tough loss and I’m certainly not going to rag on them for this. We’ve been there. This was a game they could have won. They would have won this game if they played in November.
With Penn State next week, I hope they can fix the issues they found otherwise Penn State is going to tear them up
