Week 1 Prediction Thread
Here's your chance to post any predictions you may have about the Oregon game. What will the final score be? How will the RBs do? Will Roper make us forget the dread from Costa's injury. This thread is also open to predictions on other games (SnoConeGod: I am looking at you).
Personally, I think Oregon comes out running to take some of the pressure off of Roper. He'll play under control, for the most part, and finish with just over 200 yards, 1 pick and 2 TDs. That'll be more than enough with Johnson and Blount accounting for 200+ yards and 3 TDs of their own. Oregon wins 41 - 24.

We will..
My brother is a student at the University of Tennessee. As long as we beat them in 2010, I’m good. (otherwise I wont be able to live with myself)
p.s. we aren’t gonna do too much with a sophomore roper (i hope he proves me wrong)
pss.. I know dave rips on hating the Huskies more than the Beavs, but I respectfully disagree…EFF those beavers, and HAHAHAHAHAHAH GOOD game yesterday…BEAVER MEANS PUSSY

41-23 Ducks
The running game isn’t quite what is expected, only because Washington tries to stop it, so the passing game takes off, esp to Dickson and the running backs.

I think your synopsis is very likely
But I’d say the score will not be that inflated.

38-20 Oregon
Lots of bubble screens early to settle Roper down, and then in the second half CK starts airing out to J-Will and Holland on the outside and Dickson down the middle. In the fourth quarter with Oregon up 31-20 and Washington threatening, Patrick Chung picks off Locker on the one with 12:41 to go. Roper doesn’t throw another pass, as JJ and Blount efficiently gash the Husky D on a 17 play, 99 yard drive, culminating in a Blount TD with 12 seconds left

The D gets 3 turnovers one for a TD and another starts the offense in the redzone

38-24
Washington keeps it close into the 3rd quarter, but Oregon gets it done with more depth and experience on the Offensive line, secondary, and a killer 1-2 punch at running back with JJ and Blount force trauma grinding their front seven into submission in the fouth we begin to pull away. I can’t wait to see Jamere Holland, and his much vaunted speed and I want to see J Will become a real go to guy in the clutch.

30-20 Ducks
The Fuskies keep it close until the 4th, but then the Ducks pull away. Locker is the only reason the Fuskies will stay in it the first 3 quarters.
