I just finished listening to Mike Bellotti's conference call. At about 9:45 into the call (link below), a reporter asks him about Justin Thompson being spotted in Corvalis this weekend. Here's what Bellotti says:

"He still has some academic issues. And I think again that his teammates signed with Oregon State and they very well may be recruiting him. When he does not enroll - actually at this point in time he is still committed and bound by the letter of intent and all that. That occurs up until the start of class."

Has anyone else heard anything about this? I thought it was wierd that he just disappeared of the face of the earth. It sure feels like he's waiting until the start of class so he's no longer bound by his letter of intent so he can switch schools. I hope I'm reading too much into this.
