They didn't really look that great....

They couldn’t pass worth crap. Their QB and WRs sucked.

They were able to play decent defense for most of the game, and ran the ball.

But it was clear that they were wearing down at the end. They weren’t as well conditioned or as deep as OSU, and they won’t be on the same level as ASU.

The line sounds just about right to me.

If OSewe takes care of the ball, they win

If they turn the ball over even 1 less time (not counting the last one) they probably win…

Over Penn State? Huh?

Penn State has a MUCH better defense than Stanford, and they are deep.

I doubt OSU’s rushing offense will improve from the Stanford game. So we get to see the Moevao show all over again. If PSU can get any pressure (likely), OSU will be screwed.

As long as PSU’s offense doesn’t totally implode (which is doubtful), they should win if the turnover battle is close to even. PSU has better RBs and WR’s than Stanford. OSU didn’t even have to respect the pass against Stanford and they still couldn’t win.

They win against Stanford?

Or against Penn State?

Stanford, yes. I have my doubts they’ll beat Penn State. Good luck to them though.

Go Duckies!

Ahh...OK, I was confused.

Yes, OSU had turned the ball over less vs. Stanford, they would have won. However, long term what is worrisome about the team was that they didn’t control the either line of scrimmage against Stanford. That is much more telling moving forward than turnovers.

Oregon, Penn State, Cal...

…look like good bets to me. I’m staying away from that ASU/Stanford game

Rudy Carpenter should be able to handle the pressure much better than Moevao...

…but if I were a betting man, I wouldn’t touch that game.

Moevao played well

It wasn’t his fault the Beavs lost. I doubt Rudy puts up as high of numbers against Stanford as Moevao did. But ASU will run better. ASU wins I think. Less than by 14.5 though.

It's not just about yards...

He threw two MASSIVE interceptions. When under pressure, he’s not a good decision maker.

Stanford was worn out and stopped being able to pressure, and Moevoa did great…it was before that where he led his team to a 16 point deficit.

Cal @ -13.5?

Hmmm … I don’t know about that line. I’d go with the Cougs to cover. Cal’s pass defense was really suspect against Mich St, and they tend to have a history of making even mediocre QBs look pretty good.

I see ASU putting some serious wood to the Furd. Which is nice.

Go Bears!
