So, I signed up for O-Zone Friday night...
knowing that I wouldn’t be able to watch the game on Saturday. I stupidly thought that I could come home Saturday afternoon after the game and watch a replay on O-Zone. I mean, the audio replay of the UW game was available. I figured at least an audio replay of the Utah St. game. Turns out I don’t know shit about anything when it comes to broadcasting Ducks’ games. It’s my understanding that it’s some combination of FSN/ABC/ESPN at the top. Then maybe Vs.? And someone’s allowed to pre-empt someone else from showing a game even though they have no intention of showing it themselves. And then there’s OSN, which is only available in special places in Oregon or on GamePlan. Except FSN can pre-empt OSN/GamePlan. Then there’s Comcast. I remembered something about the new Comcast plan being able to pre-empt OSN coverage as well even if they weren’t going to show the game. And then I remembered some sort of restriction on showing re-plays through OSN as well? Does anyone have a simple chart or write-up which can tell me on a weekly basis: Can I watch the game? Who’s fucking fault is it that I can’t? In fact, forget the first question because I almost feel like it’s guaranteed to be no at this point. I count 6 or 7 different parties all trying to screw me over and keep me from ever watching a Ducks’ game again.
