Sanchez bolting to the NFL
With most other juniors staying, Sanchez is reportedly heading to the NFL. If this turns out to be true, the rest of the Pac-10 will be very happy.

A window of opportunity?
Tough as Oregon’s ‘09 schedule is on paper, many things are shaping up in the Ducks’ favor. At least to a degree… It’s not like USC’s going to slip much if any. Cal may be only fair to good at QB but they will have serious running game. OSU players are circling the Civil War on their calendar as we speak.
Washington now has The Amazing Mr. Sarkisian – Supreme Ruler of Montlake, fixer of all things broken (that includes Jake Locker, egos, players’ spirit, relationships with alumns and coverage against WSU receivers) and deliverer of magical fairy dust. WAIT! STOP! Okay, who the hell slipped that purple pill into my coffee? We’ll blow those clowns out…again.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
too bad that Taylor Mays character is sticking around
he frightens me.

Interesting...
…Sanchez made it clear that he had actually made his decision a couple days ago, and that he waited for Pete Carroll to return from vacation in Hawaii before announcing. The two spoke about Sanchez’s choice late into last night about.
Carroll was visibly unhappy, refusing to sit down for part of the press conference and saying that he disagreed with the decision based on a number of factors. “We don’t see this decision the same,” he said. “Mark is going against the grain on this decision. He knows that.”
Nick Sanchez, Mark’s dad, was supportive and joked with reporters that, as a parent, he wants to see his kid in college for ten years. Sources close to the program indicate that his family wasn’t happy with the choice either…
Interesting...
If I were Carrol, I’d want him back too. However, Sanchez looked absolutely giddy at the press conference.

I wonder if he'll still look as happy
when the Lions pick him.
nope
USC has 2-3 QBs that are just as good if not better than Sanchez, just less experience.
