Say It Ain't So, Gabe
It was a rumor around school last week, but it's looking more and more bleak.

While I second JShu’s sentiment, this only solidifies Gabe as a Duck recruit. What better facilities for rehab than Oregon’s? And, the UO staff does have A LOT of experience in this area.
By the grace of Juju, we all are day-to-day.
Recruiting pitch
How close are we to using injuries in recruiting? “You know son, XX% of college football players have a serious injury during his college career. That’s X in 10, son. If that happens to you, wouldn’t you want to know that you can rehab and still recover and make it to the NFL? Just look at Dennis Dixon and Walter Thurmond III. Think about it, son.”
Guy behind me at Autzen says "why do the fans yell 'OOO' when we are on D?" He then proceeds to yell "DEEEEEEEE" on every defensive play for the rest of the game. As Carlos Mencia would say, "Dee DeeDee".

Hmmm, Lets make this positive
Maybe Cal will revoke their offer because of this. All but shoring up our chances to snag this guy
A much needed bye week; and two whole weeks to focus the inner hatred of UW even moreso than normal.

I doubt that.
I’m actually surprised they’re talking about surgery. Meniscus tears, depending on severity, aren’t as bad as some other ligaments, at least healing-wise. The meniscus grows back, just like the MCL. Sometimes going without surgery and going with the physical therapy and anti-inflammatory approach can be good for the muscles in the knee.
However, I digress. I highly doubt Cal revokes an offer for one of the top recruits in the nation, and possibly their highest-priority recruit.
Addicted To Quack [dot] com; Six-hundred and ninety-four yards of total offense.
Can't you see I'm wishfully thinking here!
Of course my scenario was unrealistic, I do hope that he finds a way to get that elusive 5th star in his combines. I also highly doubt that Cal is his numero uno right now. Alabama may pose trouble for us
