Sigh. Bye week. No real news, just a bunch of waiting. How, oh how, is the dedicated Duck fan going to remain occupied until the next game?

The part about “The real fun is practicing all week and then going out to play on Saturdays.” That’s what was happnin today, lotsa fun stuff at practice. Opening up the CK playbook for all kinds of shit. and the guys were really having fun with it. Reminded me of the old White Sox players, et al, on the Field of Dreams, just playing for the love of playing. It was truly a thang of beauty. i was almost envious that I couldn’t be part of it. I realized then that I was , sort of, more than many becuz I got to see it, sense it and now write about it. And just now, that got validated with “Congratulations. You won!” One more time.
And that’s not a rumor, my friend.
