Bye Week Sucks

At least I’ve got Angels-Yankees to look forward to later, although the Angels better pull it out this time.

I feel the need, the need...for speed!

Go Angels!

Angels vs Dodgers in the WS!!!

Should I root for USC or Notre Dame?

USC win = better for the Pac-10
Notre Dame win = USC is proven beatable (again), Pete Carroll is knocked down a few pegs

I guess it’s a win-win?

by DavisDuck on Oct 17, 2009 9:01 AM PDT reply actions

I think we have to root for USC

A 10 – 2 USC team (providing we beat them) is the only way the Pac 10 gets 2 BCS berths this year, which will be good for the conference. Plus, as much as I like seeing USC lose, I like seeing ND lose even more.

I feel the need, the need...for speed!

by Gorbachav5 on Oct 17, 2009 9:18 AM PDT up reply actions

Agreed

We want USC to win and OU to win so we can beat a top 5 team. I hate ND, too. They should be forced into a conference

by oregon_fan on Oct 17, 2009 9:21 AM PDT up reply actions

I hate Notre Dame too much to find a good reason why they should win today.

I’ll continue to have no respect for a football program that suffers from extreme spoiled princess syndrome.

I would say root for USC

From a selfish Duck’s fan standpoint I want them coming into Autzen with only one loss. Besides I have to echo what everyone else is saying ‘I can’t ever go for a ND team’ besides watching ND lose will give Lou Holtz less to talk about. Can you image if ND pulls off the upset, ESPN will never stop showing him saying ‘I told you so’ and ‘ND for the NC’ That alone is valid reason to root for Satan vs ND.

To go out and ruin somebody's dreams like that, it feels real good," Oregon receiver Jaison Williams.

But really, the team that worries me most is Miami. VT has to lose twice for Miami to make the ACC championship game. So if Miami wins out, which is very possible as their hard games behind them, they’ll be 11-1, and will probably take the last at large spot.

No doubt about that. In reality, the BSU game was one of the best things that could happen to our program. If things had gone well, coach and team would never be tested, and there would still be a lot of chatter about Bellotti.

But, it forced Chip to grow, and he took charge of the team. It really made clear the coaching change. And that is for the best.
