YOU can help Oregon make a little national noise...
The Oct 31 game against USC is coming up.
They are coming to Autzen.
I want Jim Rome on the sidelines, because when his nationally syndicated radio show goes live at 9 AM on Monday, Nov 2nd, all 9 million of his listeners are going to get an earfull of what he witnessed in Eugene.
If you've ever heard this guy's show, you know how he can absolutely sell what he speaks. For someone who has never been to Autzen, what a game to go to. We all know it will be sold out, and the Trojans at that time will be at least #3 in the rankings, and Oregon, with a win in Seattle this Sat, will probably be around #9, with weak performances today by Texas, Florida, Alabama a loss from VA Tech.
Realistically, this is the best opportunity Oregon will have to take down the Trojans, and on a national level.
Jim Rome can talk about what he saw at Autzen.
Please e-mail Jim and politely ask him to visit our sideline for the Oct 31 game to end all games: rome@haveatake.com
You can also text him at 37170.
If the nation doesn't listen to us, Rome has our back.

Great Post
Rome being a west coast I think at the very minimum he recognizes the Oregon program and how rowdy Autzen gets.
That would be great to get Rome on the sidelines of Autzen.

Plus. Rome has previously established ties with Chip Kelly through his show,
So he knows what UO is all about :)
A much needed bye week; and two whole weeks to focus the inner hatred of UW even moreso than normal.

Done.
Rome loves our plucky Ducks, especially our big guys up front on the O-line.

Jim Rome is a blowhard
And I would consider an endorsement by him an insult. I can’t stand his show or the way he treats people he interacts with. No thanks.
I feel the need, the need...for speed!

Gotta say I agree.
We should get Jim Everett to come instead.

If both ourselves and USC win next weekend
It is VERY likely Gameday will be there. That’s a lot of exposure. This will just be gravy.

While I may support this
Its Washington week, slow your role. As Dave would say the most important game of the season is this week.
Much of the credit goes to a defense that hasn’t allowed a substantial touchdown drive in nearly a month

Poor Chrissy Everett,
She is the one that just divorced Greg Norman…Right?

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves
Take care of business in Seattle this week first, then we can focus on Halloween night.

Jim Rome is a Douchebag
His interviews are a joke. Every question he asks is a leading question. If the guy he’s talking to plays along and gives him answers he likes it’s: AWESOME, BEST INTERVIEW EVER!!! But I have yet to ever hear anything insightful on that show. Plus he’ll hock any product, and claim that he loves it for the right price.

I think this is exactly why Chip Kelly on Jim Rome would be a shitstorm of awesome.

wether he’s there or not doesn’t matter to me. But for Christ’s sake, for a game of
this magnitude, would it be too much to ask our fans to actually stay in the
stadium during the half, a whole 20 minutes, and not wander off to get hammered
and then wander back AFTER the 2nd halk kickoff?

Yes, it absolutely would be to much to ask
