Walking in from the N side of the stadium in the parking lot was something else. Some Husky’s tossing bread pieces at us in Duck gear, guessing they were feeding the Ducks or something. Not bad. Too many vile comments beyond fun though.
Also, lots of mention of UW past record of win / loss with UO and the National Championship thing. Seemed pretty early in the day to start that talk, like they were thinking loss already. I traded some barbs with one guy for fun, who was taking things way too seriously, shaking, quivering lip and all. Too many comments past being fun, too far towards bitter. Husky fans seemed like USC fans – arrogant, thinking it is a right to have a successful program year after year. As we in Duckland know, it is a privledge.
