Washington State comes in with a new quarterback at the helm and an inexperienced offensive line. That being said, Pete Carroll of USC recently stated that Wazzu is a "much much improved team". With all of the buzz around LeGarrette Blount's possible reinstatement, let's hope the distraction doesn't impact the team causing a letdown.
We're going to open the thread early to talk about a lot of interesting games out there today.

My internet stopped and I had some problems bringing the feed back up, other than that it was decent quality for a 1.99. I will say I was kind of mad that I still had commercials. I think they should broadcast it for free, unless there is some legal reason they can’t. In which case, they shouldn’t be able to sell it. I don’t think that comcast sports NW would lose viewers because most people would rather watch on a TV

for a long time now, every time i try it, no luck whatsoever. not enough patience to chase down their customer service and make it happen.
i always find it elsewhere eventually, just bugs me that it’s advertised as our way of getting games, just no workie.

I watched fucla-Stanfurd, I had some observations
New Weasle looks like he is really meannasty towards his players. I think that will help our recruiting AND damage fucla unity. fucla players seemed conflicted, like they like playing football but I had the idea that sometimes they didn’t care how they played, almost like they were giving the game away.
Gerhart has an interesting way of shedding tacklers. Stiff-arm does NOT seem to be his major way. He sort of leans a hip or a shoulder into the spot where he thinks that the defender will hit him, gives a bit of a ‘chuck’ at the defender and then withdraws. The defender is left then with nothing to grab. I don’t think that will work against John Boyette because John goes clear down to the ground and while sliding into the feet of the ball carrier, then reaches out and grabs him. Damnedest thing I ever saw and, is not just amazing but very effective. I wonder who taught him that?
