The only game I REALLY hate not getting was the UA game. What a piss poor performance. Cinci’s good but, to quote Denny Green, we definitely let them off the hook. UA we should’ve had though.
Should be an interesting task for the ducks in LA this weekend—what type of play did Masoli go out on? I didn’t see your game on account of it being against WSU and me needing to go out on the town and get all drunked up with some friends.

He wasn’t down on the ground or anything. He got up, went to the sideline, and the next series, Costa was there.
It wasn’t really noticeable during the game. Everyone thought “Game in hand. Costa on the field super early.”

Ah-ha. That’s what I half expected. I think more and more teams will figure out that wasting their “ones” on Wazzu is dangerous and wasteful.
Did Costa look capable of running at least 75% of that playbook or is a lot of the option/zone-read shut down w/o Masoli?
Costa still has some great wheels. I was surprised by his speed. He didn’t really need to run too much. It’s a bit tough to tell if he just gave it up and rarely kept the option keeper, or we were running designed zones-runs.
