Morning Quack Fix: Masoli and Kaiser day to day, Ducks back Blount while staying focused
After a great win over the weekend, Oregon sits at 4-1 (2-0 Pac-10), but our first big test comes this weekend. Oregon has flourished at home, but it's time to head back on the road. And while the Rose Bowl isn't Bronco Stadium, how Oregon plays at UCLA will hopefully let us see if this team is for real. On to the quack!
- In the news that everyone is talking about, Jeremiah Masoli and C.E. Kaiser are listed as day to day. While this can really mean anything, I am really not concerned about either injury. My guess is that Masoli will play versus UCLA, while Kaiser is more iffy, but our team should be in near perfect health after the BYE week.
- While I'm tired of talking about LeGarrette Blount, this piece makes me smile when thinking of prepping for Stanford. Meanwhile, if you've been reading terrible columns on the situation, cut it out. Instead, take a look at what the other players have to say about Blount possibly coming back. But what should be most encouraging, is that despite all the hoopla surrounding the program, it has not affected the players, who showed focus despite the numerous distractions.
- Ken Woody files his usual post-game recap. The Ducks dominated the game because of speed, which Wazzu just doesn't have.
- Oregonlive has a report on how future Ducks fared over the weekend in their high school games.
Make sure check out a number of videos after the jump, including highlights from Chip Kelly's press conference, and a number of player interviews. GO DUCKS!

Thanks for the video links… I love that!
Don’t forget to check out this week’s podcast. We cover the Wazzu game and look a head to UCLA.
Go Ducks!!
According to Biggins, Nick Rowland, a 4* lineman who visited during the Cal game, will be announcing Wednesday. This could end up being a big recruiting week….

Come on out to Eugene Mr.Rowland!
Did he visit for the Cal game or WSU?
Formerly, thats a no-go.
I apologize for my ignorant and blatant lack of refinement in terms of my cursage. I did not know much of this Tuel feller so I accidentally used another innocent mans picture. Believe me, IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN!
Well,
It seems to me that we are in a good place to wrap him up

The only negative column on LGB I've seen
Is Canzano’s. All the guys on ESPN were quite supportive of CK’s decision to bring him back.
"Good evening Blazer fans, wherever you may be!"-Bill Schonely
Schroeder’s wasn’t positive, neither was some dude from Salem. I haven’t really found anything positive from the Northwest papers. Not that I care though….

It might be busted, but my “give-a-shit-o-meter” is at zero when ever I scan a Canzano article with it.
It's spelled "S-H-U-A-R-E-A-J-A-C-K-A-S-S"
You scan Canzano articles?
Good for you, I flat out stopped reading them a while ago.
It's spelled "T-A-K-O-T-U-E-S-D-A-Y-S-!-!-!."
I support inroywetrust in his support of The VD Special in his support of me supporting Roger Kieschnick in his quest to becoming the best Kieschnick ever to play professional baseball.
You wrapped the poor fella in a Canzano article?
at least pay the delicious fish some respect and leave him with dignity, anything but Canzano

I imagine the fish
then grew to record size right there in the Moseley newspaper! Delicious fish!
Well, lets find out who Juju will help us deal with next
4-0 homestand.
Four straight wins in Autzen. Some great opponents, minus Wazzu. The emergence of a bunch of talented young ducklings. Jeremiah Masoli channeling his former self. Chip Kelly’s demeanor with sideline reporters. Great tailgates with all sorts of ATQers from out of town. Mostly outstanding weather.
Regardless of where we go from here, what a great month of Duck football.
Can I get an AMEN?
By the grace of Juju, we all are day-to-day.

AMEN!
I have to say, Chip Kelly interviews are quickly becoming one of my favorite quirks of this season. They are simply awesome. It’s like he’s finally doing what every coach in America wants to do.

Masoli
Masoli didn’t practice.
Guy behind me at Autzen says "why do the fans yell 'OOO' when we are on D?" He then proceeds to yell "DEEEEEEEE" on every defensive play for the rest of the game. As Carlos Mencia would say, "Dee DeeDee".
Looks like Bill Connelly is still a closet Duck fan...
He’s now projecting Oregon to win the rest of their games, and what may be most shocking, predicting that WSU will beat ASU.
--AddictedToQuack, SBNation's Oregon Ducks blog
Insane… at the beginning of the season, he predicted our only loss would be to BSU. I’m still not buying into it – but yeah… I have to believe the guy is a Duck fan. His numbers and predictions tend to be more optimistic than myself.
It's spelled "S-H-U-A-R-E-A-J-A-C-K-A-S-S"
Nice rack in the pic, Shu.
I guess that I haven’t learned my lesson yet. I’d still like to meet BS U in a BCS Bowl….Just to see if we are as good as I think that we are and wipe that slate clean. I’d bet the game would sell well too.
Wow
His system absolutely HATES Stanford. I don’t think they’re great, but they’ve certainly played well enough so far. And Arizona looks better than his projections are giving them credit for. But that’s why they play the games.
I feel the need, the need...for speed!
Dickson-
“"It shows the character of Chip Kelly to want to bring him back and give him a chance to fight for his career.”
Not sure about the word choice there…
42-3, 65-38...So many scores to choose from!
Remene "The Gentleman" Alston!
Dickson or Blount...?
