So you want an entire new post that just says, “Costa is the starter. That is all.”????

I don’t really believe that there’s been “official” word that Costa will be the starter or that Masoli will be out. It seems that everything is pretty much conjecture at this point.

Also, if you can’t figure out that Costa is the starter after looking over the last week of posts, well, I just don’t know what to tell ya….

I think Tillanate10 is just asking that we behave more as a source of information, reporting the Duck news if you will. I see where he’s coming from. If ATQ plays more of that role, then he doesn’t really have to go elsewhere. I don’t think his request deserves some of the ridicule it’s getting.

At the same time, we’re not reporters, not paid to report, and we don’t have much for internal contacts. I’m sure there are times when we could do a better job of breaking specific news items/links out of comment sections, where they may otherwise become buried among Ropert meme’s, Weasel stomping and tales of JShufelt forgetting beer.

ATQ fosters community input and participation. Managers and editors do post “stories”, mostly opinions and observations derived from information gathered and reported by professional media outlets. Other ATQers can do the same using a Fan Post. I would encourage Tillanate10, and anyone else who thinks a key headline needs to be posted more prominently, to take it upon themselves to take advantage of the tools available. ATQ is only as good as the entire community makes it.
