Normally I don't FanPost drunk. But this is a special occasion. This is the tale of Takimoto and trumpetduck's game day experience on one Saturday, November 14th, 2009.
It all starts with beer. It just makes sense, doesn't it? So T-Duck and I are playing with the Oregon Alumni Band, and one of the many things associated with the Oregon Alumni Band is tailgating for beer. So, we tailgated for beer. After all the beer, we headed into the stadium. After getting to the field, we figured it'd be a good idea to give those not fortunate enough to be on the field a high five. Amidst all the the high fiving, Kyle jumped up to give a high five and came down awkwardly on his ankle. It is important to note that Kyle T-Duck has been wearing a Dennis Dixon jersey the whole day. Because of the alcohol, we figure Kyle just turned his ankle and it would be fine. Once we got into the west tunnel, Kyle showed us his ankle. It was approximately the size of a softball. It would have been a waste to miss the whole game to leave, so we manned up and stayed for the first half. We left at halftime because Kyle's ankle was enormous, though he's still mad at me for making him leave before the game was over.
Because of the Dixon jersey, I'm pretty sure the quarterback injury Juju has been satisfied. Therefore, if some freak injury befalls Jeremiah Masoli, it's not our fault. That's pretty much all that's getting cleared up here. But if you have any Sunday thoughts, send them out to trumpetduck, cuz his ankle's effed.
