It's weird that they're doing this for an unranked team...
Unless the decision was made prior to yesterday…
Addicted To Quack [dot] com; Six-hundred and ninety-four yards of total offense.
It makes sense
Looking at the schedule, the Pac-10 is the only Big 6 league except for the Big East that is not decided already (at least who will be in the title game). And the Big East is far less sexy than the Pac on its best day, even to the Eastern Sports Promotion Network.

ESPN employees get a bonus if they pass 1 Million LGB mentions.
And it’s so much easier than to write about football, which is hard work.
ESPN my everlasting gratitude for reducing college football to the orphan stepchild of WWF and Jerry Springer.
FYI, Byrd just got another pick for the Bills
JARIUS FTW!

I remember reading the Bills SBN blog during the draft and their fans were just killing the team for drafting him. I don’t hear too much whining now.

More practical reasons abound.
What better place to spend a weekend in late November than Tucson — at least as far as football’s concerned? To my knowledge, they’ve never been to ANY Pac10 location other than LA or Eugene. ANY chance to get them out in this part of the country should be encouraged.
Plenty of storylines here — AZ’s the only team never to win the conference, and rarely are they even in the discussion this late in the season. They have a Surfer Dude at QB. They’ve fought through a lot of adversity and shown some pretty good resilience. They’ve benefited from a miracle finish (The Toe) and suffered from a bonehead screweup (note to Stoops: When in position for a winning FG, try not to call a pass play in the first place).
For Oregon, of course, there’s the chance to show The Punch another couple dozen times.
To Bad the civil war
isn’t on a Saturday they would follow the ducks north
Maybe they’ll do a big finish where they come to Eugene for Thursday and head somewhere else for Saturday.

And the initial line is Oregon -4
But I’m with the vast majority of folks who has no f-ing clue what will happen, most notably which Zona team shows up.

I really think it comes down to which Oregon defense shows up. I think when both teams are playing their A game, we win. If we play well I don’t think they can beat us. I think we only lose if the defense gives up 50 again, or if we have a bunch of turnovers/penalties.

Barner needs to hold onto the damn ball
Its one thing if we do have a turnover or two on offense but turnovers in the kicking game kill you.

Dont forget about Maehl,
He better not screw the pooch again! Okay, I’m done with my unsubstantiated anti-Maehl rant.
At the very least, Barner is only a RS-freshman who will become a permier special teams standout in the Pac-10.
I respect you Juju, you and your gorgeous brilliance
I am anti-anti Maehl rants.
Guy makes plays, had one bad game. Leading WR.
I feel like a broken record.
