Rushing the field

It happened in 2007 and again last night...

With minutes to go, and Oregon driving, the fans in Arizona stadium came out of the stands and lined the sidelines all the way down to the endzone.  What I'm wondering is if/how this is legal.  I can't imagine it is.

If this happened at Autzen I doubt there's a team in the nation that could win.  Arizona seems to think its acceptable though

The security

I saw about two security guards in the whole goddamn place. And the one’s I did see looked like they either didn’t care that people were on the field or just saw how outnumbered they are and were like, “Well, fuck this.”

47-20, 42-3, 65-38...So many scores to choose from!

Actually,

Along the south endzone. there were about 50-60 security guards. They let everyone rush onto the field. They did not so much as even move

Hard to be self-righteous about this..

It’s happened at Autzen, although the Rushing Fan Recall has never been necessary.

There was a phalanx of security in front of the stands. The problem was, they were apparently there to protect the well-heeled AZ attendees from their own students.

Rush the field

AFTER THE GAME! I’ll never forget the sight of Zona students ON THE OREGON BENCH in 2007. That being said, if Juju wills that we win the Civil War, I’m sure we’ll storm the field, as well we should, but AFTER the final whistle.

I wouldn't rush the field for anything that I can think of.

An old fucker like me wouldn’t be found until the middle of the Chip Kelly Show (maybe.)
Chip would ask Anthony “What’s that black and green lump over there at the 30 yard line? It’s got some yellow and red there in the middle.”
