I’m pretty sure that Daniels does not have a UO offer…

from my cousin who goes to school with him, who says he has an offer, visited during the USC game and continually talks about coming to Eugene.
Q: How many OSU freshmen does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None, it's a sophomore course.

Well, I hope that your cousin is correct.
Perhaps we can get this confirmed in writing pretty soon by him formally committing?

According to my sources, he’s a solid prospect that does not yet have an offer. This doesn’t mean he won’t get one, but Oregon has given out very few offers so far for the 2011 class.
Is this the article on Duck Territory you were talking about?

indeed it is
he was also named the #4 soph in the country last year by rivals. I asked my cousin to see what he could find out about whether maybe he got an offer last weekend or what makes him committed to us.

I think DuckTerritory may check into this as well (I passed this thread along to them), so if there’s something going down, I’m sure we’ll hear soon!

Always hard to tell from these HS videos if the guy is good or the competition is bad.
He definitely looks like a serious manchild against that competition, but hard to tell if all the other guys are just slow and small.
I prefer to assume he’s amazing, going to UO, and has the 2013 Heisman wrapped up.

its comparable to 5A competition here in eugene
i’ve been to a couple games, i think i actually saw this guy without knowing who he was last year and he just tore it up.

He looks like a solid RB prospect to me,
But that is only based on 90 seconds of video I have seen.

It is hard to tell
I think I could run behind some of those blocks.
I’m 6’2 and 230, but not the good kind of 6’2 230. Less stocky and more doughy.
He did make a few nice moves past the blocking though.
It wasn't the first time I'd been kicked in the cherries and called a rat by a woman, but it was the first time I didn't mind.
