DC Duck Fans -- Viewing the Stanford game?
I'm headed east for a convention in DC (actually, at the Gaylord National Harbor, which as I understand isn't technically in DC, whatever) on Saturday.
If everything goes well I'll land at IAD a few minutes before game time. But I don't expect to be in a position to catch the game until I hit the hotel complex, which should be around 5pm or so.
There's a sports bar called the National Pastime in the hotel -- presumably, they'll be able to tune one of their 47,000 flat screens to the game -- but if anyone in the DC area has a better viewing location, I'm open to suggestions. Otherwise, I'll just start my own viewing party.

Summer's Restaurant in Arlington
Hey Benz,
As my first post on AtQ, I figured it is best to help out a duck fan that will be in my neighborhood. I will be joining a few friends, and we are going to a place called Summers. It is in Arlington, and more specifically right by the Courthouse metro.
I live out by Dulles, and the closest metro is the Vienna stop. It is about a 15 or 20 minute drive from Dulles, and since it is Saturday the parking is free at all metro stops. Since Vienna is the last stop on the Orange line, there is only one way to go. If you take it toward DC, after about 7 stops you’ll be at the Courthouse stop. The metro is also really cheap, so it will only cost you $2-$3.
It is a really fun bar, we went here for the Cal and UW games. It is also the local Alumni Association bar, so it is always packed with duck fans. It is a fun place to get a taste of the craziness of Autzen, while being 3000 miles away. Hopefully you can make it.
"Sir, have you had this with you the entire time?"
