There is no reason to care. The BCS is all about promoting star power teams, The only ranking we will look at is the Pac-10.

Exactly right. Win, and all is taken care of. Poll rankings matters to only two teams, and Oregon won’t be one of those this season. Just the same, I agree with the initial premise.
