ATQ BlogPoll: A Clearcut Top Nine
I won't elaborate too much. The top six are undefeated, so that's pretty clear. I think the next three are pretty much beyond debate as well, except for the order. The rest is a crapshoot, but I'm still not buying Penn State, who hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse.

It’s pretty astounding how there are no one-loss teams.

Give it a few more days. I like Alabama to soon fill that role soon, and maybe, just maybe, Cincinnati too.

How far will the SEC champ game loser fall? I wouldn’t be surprised to see them drop to merely 4 if it’s a close game. I don’t think voters are buying Cinci or BSU.

4 is the spot in my mind also
but we have been seeing a lot of teams drop too far after a loss. I just dont see it happening in the SEC.

I cannot remember what writer said it the best...
But it was along the lines of “The SEC is like a very beautiful yet insecure girl. No matter how many times you tell her how pretty she is, she continues to pout and fret regardless”. Very accurate in my eyes. But, watch out SEC, there is a new bombshell finally as attractive as you; and worse yet, gulp, it’s on the west coast.

So, how is it that one brother is named "James", and the next one "Jacquizz"?
Anyways, based on the picture; they look as if they have a relationship thats a little too comfortable.

It's pretty astounding
what the Pac 10 is doing. I’m really, really impressed with the Pac 10 as a conference this year.

Thank you
For dropping Penn St. so low. I just don’t understand why anyone has them ranked higher than 18th. Who the heck have they beaten this year? They crapped the bed (at home) against the only two good teams they’ve played.

Yep. I think everyone likes JoePa (myself included) too much.
So they are ranked too high too often.

What what what?
Liking someone determines who gets millions in bowl money???? No no no, I was told it was determined by what you did on the field by some friends of mine in Idaho

By losing the Rose Bowl?
Distribution of money still has nothing to do with why they are ranked so high so often!!!

How long did it take
For Notre Dame to finally drop out of the top 25? It’s just such a high schoolish popularity contest with much of the national media.

Northwestern...Huh
Interesting. There must be a TON of mediocrity near the bottom of the 25
