Media Wednesday - The 1958 Rose Bowl
As we head into preparations for the 2009 Rose Bowl, it seems fitting to look back to 1958 when Oregon battled Ohio State in Pasadena in the Grand Daddy of Them All. With the legendary Chick Hearn on the call, Ohio State beat Oregon 10-7 to capture the title. The Ducks had their chances but couldn't capitalize in the second half. Think about who was roaming the sidelines in that game. Len Casanova and Woody Hayes, two names who represent the essence of college football.

If this year’s game ends up 10-7, I’ll be a little annoyed, even if it’s a Ducks win.
It's spelled "T-H-E-I-M-P-A-C-T"
I support inroywetrust in his support of The VD Special in his support of me supporting Roger Kieschnick in his quest to becoming the best Kieschnick ever to play professional baseball.
I want to win a Rose Bowl in my lifetime. It can be 2-0 and I'll be happy.
Still I would rather score fifty plus points and have both James and Blount run for 100 yards a piece.
Oh and Kenjon needs to run back at least one kick off.
GO DUCKS!!!!!
