Reading the SI article, James got a job after graduation working for the same Dallas-area real estate broker behind the SMU slush fund. So, yes, I would say that tying James to SMU death penalty is appropriate. Not really topical for ATQ, but its CFB, and I can't post on the TT board for 24 hours.
