Well, at least we still have Dontae Williams.
And we are pretty young at running back to begin with
Our collective lack of productivity has clearly paid off in the grandest of fashion. We are going to Pasadena. Yes, let that sink in. WE ARE GOING TO PASADENA. To be honest, this has not yet hit me-WE ARE GOING TO PASADENA. Wow.
Juju, We applaud your devotion and pure decency throughout the season.
We better hold onto him. We need 2, if not 3 RBs this year.

Well, WORST CASE scenario...
We end up with one RB in this class (if not Dontae, then we will find a JC guy). LaMichael and Kenjon can still manage the position very well. Plus, Remene is a Junior. I think next year will be an extremely vital year for picking up a few runningbacks (assuming this season we dont get another few RB commits).
I’m trying to stay positive here, B/C I was excited about Ethan’s commitment. And it sounded very secure with talk of him cancelling all of his other visits and such…Oh well, it always happens

Well since he is no longer a barn burner is it all that bad?
I should be the last person making fun of grammar, but there it is. But this still too bad, I was looking forward to a lightning, lightning and lighting backfield.
I Don't Yell O I SCREAM!
What’s TCU’s running back situation? Was Grant worried that he’d just be carrying LMJ’s jock for three years?
That’s a very good point, though the way we rotate in backs he would’ve found the field.

CK said he wanted to use Grant as a Percy Harvin type player...
So maybe replacing Kenjon Barners role…

So he’d be holding Barner’s jock for three years.

Assuming Barner didn't move back to DB...
Yes he would.

Oregon's clout has never been higher.
We’ll land some quality players before it’s all said and done.
…and if we don’t, Shufelt still has some eligibility. He put a pretty good block on me near the beer cooler just before the OSU game.

DNA? Oh yeah baby...
Shu knows whats up. He will only play if he looks GOOD out there.

This is kind of heart breaking to me. I really liked the guy, and I didn’t even know him.
I thought he would have an immediate impact. In addition, TCU stole another 4* RB commit from another team today too.

If only we had gone undefeated like TCU, this wouldn't be happening.
Oh, woah is me, season fail.
Whether he be met by rain, sleet, or DB's, the Maehlman always delivers.

LT went to TCU
I can see how that would be tempting for a RB. At some point it would really help if our Ducks performed well in the NFL. JStew is doing fine, but he is no LT. Haloti, Igor, Nick Reed, and JByrd all look like they are headed for stellar careers, but they are all defensive guys.
I would be shocked if LT or going pro had anything to do with Grant going to TCU. LT was a stud in college. Grant is gonna have to fight for playing time wherever he goes, he’s not a well rounded back at this point. I very much doubt he gets close to the NFL.
