Azzinaro hire now official
R-G's Rob Moseley states in his update that Jerry Azzinaro's hiring as defensive line coach is now official.
You gotta figure Azzinaro is looking forward to working with not only some good returners, but a slew of new talent added in the recent '09 recruiting class.

He has a lot to work with. This class was loaded with D-linemen. While not highly touted, there is a lot of raw skill. If he does an above-average job, we’ll be set at D-line for a few years.

Agreed
Clearly this was the guy “they” were referring to when the Bellotti/Kelly change was announced and it was made clear Chip had some guys he specifically wanted to target.

Another good article on Azzinaro...
Moseley has a lengthy and good article on him. I am really excited about this hire.
