Track and Field Selects Eugene as a Stop in Diamond League
Track and Field is launching a "Diamond League" in 2010 designed to pit the top Track and Field stars in the world against each other in 12 international meets. The only 2 stops in the US are in New York City and Eugene.

Brussels, Zurich, Berlin, Oslo, Rome, Paris, New York …… Eugene! That’s some pretty impressive company! I know that Eugene is called Track Town USA but that really seems like a huge amount of respect being shown by the international track and field community. Quite an honor to be sure.
