Paul Westhead to be Introduced as Women's Hoops Coach
Paul Westhead will be introduced at 2:30pm PST as the new head coach of the Oregon women's basketball program. The Register Guard also has the story and Rob Moseley is on top of it as usual. If you would like some background on Paul, Wikipedia is a great source to quench your knowledge thirst.

Your version had valuable linkage, so I pulled mine. Like grimc below, I’m not a big women’s basketball fan. The hiring of a guy like Westhead might be exactly what it takes to change that.
You cannot hide from our weapons of Masoli destruction.
For like a week I thought we were talking about hiring Paul Westphal.

I don't follow women's hoops, but
this hiring is huge. Westhead won the 2007 WNBA title. Imagine if Greg Popovich took over a college program.
Or, if Mike D'Antoni took over a mid-level college program.
Either way, this has made women’s basketball the talk of the town for a little bit, which is good. I think the Oregon women can be profitable for the athletic department. We’ll see what happens here though.
