There's still some chatter out there that Few will succeed Ernie Kent at Oregon, his alma mater, but I'm told that Kent will hold on for sure. I've also heard that Kent might be bringing in (or is being told to bring in) Mike Dunlap, who's currently an assistant at Arizona, to be his assistant in Eugene.

No surprise.
The Zona job probably commands a fairly short list of big names. I think Few qualifies as a good fit there, though I’d prefer that not happen.

They definitely want to make a splash, so Few seems to be a name they’d go after.

Interesting comments about a possible new assistant.
It’s clear I like Few as a coach having lived recently in Spokane and had a few chances to watch him work up close and personal. I’ve also backed the notion of Ernie keeping his job, but suggested he needs to make some changes on his bench.
Ernie has some strengths (recruiting, team leadership, grad rates, etc.). More knowledgeable posters here at ATQ have stated Ernie needs help with Xs and Os. If he’s going to keep the position, he needs to surround himself with high-quality assistants with proven skills for player development and running a half-court offense that can compete in the Pac-10.
Question is – purely hypothetical since we don’t know where this is headed – would Dunlap be the right addition?

There's some chatter that Few may be using the Arizona talks as leverage to force Oregon into getting rid of Kent
Either way, I think this was Few’s last year at Gonzaga. He will be in the Pac10 coaching next year

Did hiring Westhead have anything to do with keeping Kent?
I’m speculating, but it seems like Westhead is the master of what Kent has tried to do offensively at Oregon. Is there a correlation here?
Hi, I'm Paul Thompson, and I'm a quack-aholic.
Nah
I think that probably has more to do with hiring a quality coach then anything else

wouldn't that be something
The men’s head coach taking lessons on his own offense from a NBA/WNBA champion who is the new women’s coach. Sounds good to me.
Ducks Go!
Already miss you MB

Hell yeah.
She is an f&%ing beast. I once saw a documentary on her she could coach and win on the men’s side.
To go out and ruin somebody's dreams like that, it feels real good," Oregon receiver Jaison Williams.
Yup
I would be totally down with that. I think she could totally kick Dunigan’s ass.

Not a flame. I’m just never amazed how stupid college guys are. Hopefully a lesson can be learned here…

The guilty parties (UO and OSU) should be sentenced to a game of nude airsoft…in the woods…near a lot of poison oak.

I don’t like your chances in that match-up.
Your boy Crittle went 0-20 it sounds like and the only thing Dunigan hit with his gun was the bottom of the pond. Plus, shooting at ducks? How self-loathing is that. Would they even try to protect themselves or each other in this match? Would they shoot each other?
Our boys can at least hit the side of a barn/house. Cars too.
Predicted score: OSU 71, UO 9
The sad part is that if anyone told you either story (shooting guns in a backyard, shooting guns at ducks) you automatically think that the culprits are under the age of 12 and not 18, 19 and 20 year old men. Definitely disappointing.

Well, unless they play for teams in the SEC. Then this is just a pregame ritual

Tebow shoots 45 houses and 79 ducks, prays for three hours for forgiveness (and gets it immediately), converts 12 Florida State Pen. inmates to Christianity before each game and still has time to stretch.
SEC. Where Tebow happens.
Fox news would have you believe that, what with the east coast bias...
We all know it was Quizz though. His shoulder was busted up on impact.
