Men's Hoops Draws Missouri in the Big 12 - Pac 10 Hardwood Series for 2009
Missouri is a tough matchup having gone to the NCAA Tournament this past year. We go to their house during the 2009 season and they come to Mac Court in December of 2010 in one of the last games to be played at Mac Court.
Hopefully Ernie creates a soft schedule for Oregon to rack up those wins to get people talking. Next year is crucial for success given the amount of faith that has been placed in him.

Here's hoping
the team’s brain trust doesn’t get their hands on a bb gun between now and then.
How do you guys like the Big 12/Pac10 thingy?
I personally love it. It’s cool to have an annual non-conference thing to look forward to every year, and the match ups get better as your team gets better.

Also Love it
I wish we would do a similar thing in football. I would love to have a weekend of Big-10 vs Pac-10 matchups on Saturdays in the fall.

now we are talking
I love that idea, well i love it in bball too. It would be really cool to have conference match up weekend, or some other catchy ESPN week long deal. People love debating conference supremacy and this would give them some much needed ammo. Although at this point I dont know if the Big 10 would step up and play Pac 10 across the board, a lot of losses.
Ducks Go!
RIP CITY!
How would those games match-up? Assume, for the sake of keeping it short, that it is a neutral site game... Using last year's standing
1. USC-Ohio State: USC
2. Oregon-Penn State: Toss Up
3. Oregon State-Michigan State: OSU
4. Cal-Iowa: Cal
5. Arizona-NW: Toss Up
6. Stanford-Minnesota: Toss Up
7. ASU-Wisconsin: Wisconsin
8. UCLA-Illinois: UCLA
9. WSU-Purdue: Purdue
10. Washington-Michigan: Michigan
How funny is that #10 match up? It’s like something out of the old days. Pathetic. But anyways, unless someone disputes these, the Pac10 would go as good as 7-3, or as bad as 4-6. However, I would give the Stanford game the nod to Stanford, and the Oregon game the nod to Oregon.

I’m not sure it would have to be a neutral site game. I’d be all for scheduling a home and home with each team over the course of two years in the “challenge”. Truth about that #10 matchup. Man, talk about old school. How the mighty have fallen

I think Illinois would beat UCLA...

I don't think so
I watched Illinois play a couple times this year, and they just seemed out of sync. The players were running all over the field, in no particular pattern, and Juice Williams looked like the freshman Juice. UCLA wins by 3. 20-17

yeah I agree. Illinois of last year was not the Illinois of 2007 that beat Ohio State. UCLA, with all of their problems last year, could have contained the attack. Probably a low scoring game but still in the Bruins favor

Espn
would probably pick up the games, especially the higher profile games
