I like Connor's

except his Notre Dame pick, they have a softer schedule than most in the nation. I say worst case they go 6-6 (plus a loss in the “Tom’s Used Cars: Nobody Cares Bowl”)

Maybe

I can see Notre Dame either being pretty good or pretty bad. And since I don’t like them, I think they’re going to be bad.

I don't know

I’ve got it down to two factors, Charlie Weiss and the NBC contract. I’m Catholic too. That says how much I hate them.

No...

he’s clownshoes. I’m a UW fan and I really only see them losing to USC, and upset by a couple of the Pitt/Stanford/Michigan games.

Although, I’d love to see them go 0-12 with all that talent and see Weiss get the Willingham treatment (never working D-1 again).

Whats up with the BSU game?

Why is it that last year every one thought we would kill BSU, and this year its seems 50-50. I am worried about this game, but i think that we can go in there and beat down a good BSU team. From what I have read and what i seen at the spring game Masoli’s passing is coming along nicely. Along with what seems to be a very good reciver crew. I think that our offense is going to roll. The Dline looked good in the spring and the linebackers are freaking lightning fast. BSU beat a unfocused ducks team in 08. They are focused and pissed about last year….watch out Broncos

Last year you were at home

The Smurf Turf is a lot different. They haven’t lost at home since 2005.

Give me a freaking break….
Who the hell have they played (besides OSU early in the season?). Yeah, I really hate to go up against their one-game winning streak against top 25 teams. There are many reasons why Oregon could lose that game, but the freaking stadium won’t be one of them.

I don't doubt that it's an advantage.

Just because it’s largely untested doesn’t mean it won’t be at least somewhat of a factor.

I don’t think our team will go in intimidated by the 35,000 screaming hicks, but it doesn’t mean there’s no disadvantage to it being a road game.

Of course there’s a disadvantage…but it’s not gonna be much different than any other away stadium. Saying they have a great road record means very little…

I'm just waiting for the excuses when BSU wins.

“There blue uniforms blend in with the turf” its unfair, “jeron johnson cheapshot”…….

You hear many excuses around these parts?

Then don’t put that on us. We lost last years game for a multitude of reasons. Don’t assume that those will help your team this time around.

Does he have balls in his knees?

I don’t follow BSU or modern medicine…technology these days is crazy.

...

I’ve had dreams about that…not necessarily in my knees. I could however, use some gaming knees for meetings.

Hmm… Michigan 8-4 (3-5) in the Big 10… That should be interesting… Not quite sure how it is possible to have more losses in the Big 10 than overall though :-)

by thatzakkid on Jun 25, 2009 10:24 AM PDT reply actions   0 recs

That’s not Connor’s fault. I am assuming that he is reasoning that if the Big-10 can’t count the number of teams in their conference correctly, how could correctly tally wins and losses?

Thanks

When you are doing 120 teams it gets kind of boring.

I'm looking at Connor's picks for the SEC...

Did you give any consideration to the mathmatical possibility of those records?

You only have one team with a losing conference record in the SEC. I’m pretty sure that is mathmatically impossible especially with 4 teams in the conference with 1 or less losses as you are predicting.

You may want to break out each team’s W’s and L’s to get a more accurate prediction, because if you added up all of the W’s in the conference that you are predicting (66) that is more than the total # of conference games played (56) which obviously can’t happen.
