I am surprised that you both think that the Beavers will beat Cal in Berkeley. Somehow I just don’t see that happening. I also don’t see us losing to Boise State. I guess that’s part of the fun of predicting these things though.
Tough to predict
The ASU and Cal games for the Beavers are interchangeable I think. I flip flopped on the Oregon and Boise State game like four times but the deciding factor was (and I know me and jtlight disagree on this) is home field advantage.
I miss CV3000
the history of the Cal – Oregon State series is fairly strange. The road team seems to do a lot better than most people think. That being said, I think Cal is very dangerous this year

Being realistic, I think it will be close. But way back in my head, I’m hopin’ for a blowout.

Boise State scares me. Birds divebomb the blue field, thinking it’s a lake. That is a home field advantage that makes me very nervous. All joking aside, I think it will be a great game. Both teams have stars coming back and both have some serious question marks.

This is almost true. But I’ve seen close to 50 games at Bronco Stadium and the birds just circle for a few minutes then keep flying. The noise probably scares them. Nothing like that one movie, The Birds
How ironic would it be if a Duck player did get hit on the field by an actual duck. Man what are the odds of that.

The thing(s) I don't buy
Is that:
Tortuga’s picks
Oregon beats Cal at home
USC beats Oregon on the road
USC loses to Cal on the road
Or
Connor’s picks:
Oregon beats ASU at home
USC beats Oregon on the road
USC loses to ASU on the road
Those are odd circles on both ends. It seems that you think every team in the Pac-10 is vulnerable to lose to each other no matter where they play. I understand the top teams have to play each other eventually, but I don’t think that kind of outcome is likely. I think that one of the top teams will be able to establish themselves as such and won’t have the parity going around the Pac-10
I don’t think that Oregon loses to Boise St. either.

I am realistic about BSU...
we all know that it’s a tough game. I just think all the players have that game circled on their calender. Would’ve thought that Oregon was picked in one.
